Recently found in my storage Gsh-18 pistol, printed from my 3d model a while ago (guess in 2018).
GSh-18 on Artstation
I had a Prusa based FDM printer and was very interested would my model, created only using photos, function like a real gun. The original rotating barrel lock made this task more difficult thus exiting
Also lot of internal action parts of this gun made of thin stamped forged metal. So it was quite challenging to make them out of plastic so they wont coonstantly break. Of cource I was forced to make them thicker & guess the right direction of filament layouts.

But the most challenging was to make that trigger grout. Made of thin metal it constantly brake. And due it shape changing the direction of filament layouts did not help a lot. The final decision was to reinforce it with thin metal patches and that finally worked.
Actually as, I supposed, it fits my hand perfecctly. Probably better than any gun I had in my hand :)

Actually, full assembly/disassembly works. I even managed to get the rotating barrel lock working properly. Of cource some changes in 3d model were made mostly due my 3D printer doesn't have needed accuracy and lot of additional tolerance between separate parts needed. Also barrel rotation did not worked properly until I've lengthened the barrel latch part.
That was a while ago. Now I have new Anycubic Photon printer & have some results with my and free use tank 3d models 1/72 scale printing. I will share it later.
Thank's for whatching :)
